Bi Therapy Tattoo Removal

Bi Therapy Tattoo Removal is an innovative tattoo removal method being pioneered in the UK by a DermaEraze Ltd.  This tattoo removal method is different as it combines both non laser tattoo removal techniques with the ND Yag laser.

Non laser tattoo removal methods such as Rejuvi are very effective in removing a large amount of ink in a few treatments.  The drawback with non laser removal is that in the later stages of the treatment, the last bits of ink, that are firmly in the lower layers of the skin can be very difficult to remove.

These remaining ink particles, can however and in most cases be easily removed with a laser.

Bi Therapy Tattoo removal draws on the advantages of both techniques.  Non laser will remove all colours, so special attention is placed on the areas that have green, yellow and red.    Non laser is also less invasive but it can have a higher chance of scarring the skin if not done properly.   Whilst laser is will break up black ink easily and works very well when there is less ink to be dealt with.  Laser can have dire consequences on the skin’s natural pigmentation but because most of the ink has been removed with the non laser treatment, this means that only a couple of laser treatments are necessary and this is therefore far gentler on the skin.

Preliminary tests shows that by combining the two techniques a tattoo can be removed 25% faster than with either method alone.  These could mean that a tattoo could be removed in less than a year as opposed to the 18 month usual term for tattoo removal.  Less treatments means less expense as tattoo removal has traditionally been a very expensive, painful and time consuming treatment.
